I guess public curiosity is any exposure to the public. I read the original reasoning for this was to stop the parading of prisoners in the street & them being harassed/harmed by the locals. Most of these laws are outdated & need to be amended for the future; or ignored like putin's rabble does.
Russians are sending pictures and video of dead Ukr. soldiers in the field to their friends and family. But, heaven forbid you post a video of live, unharmed prisoners. And if you want to know how I know, it is because my daughter is a Ukr. soldier and I have seen firsthand what Russians do.
