Yikes, Lucy. If you're still that bad, you'll have to go to ED. Just tell them in no uncertain manner you're in crippling pain. They triage patients in pain much higher than "I'm just not feeling well". Don't be a bloke 😁

Already been there Jonny. My husband took me to the ED early Tuesday evening. Was given a IV drip for dehydration.

Yes they did, tested positive for food poisoning. I asked to be discharged Wednesday morning.

Apparently it’s salmonella. Home with my youngest, my husband has taken our eldest to the hospital. He was extremely ill, he’s been admitted & on an intravenous drip. Currently running tests. Feel like a piece of shit that I’m unable to be with him. 💕🫂

You should feel no guilt Lucy and go back yourself. Salmonella is terrible, my husband got it from his work canteen. You should have stayed as they need to monitor you too in case you need another IV. Please go.
