I believe there are also concerns about Shockat Adam. He was the Leicester chair of an organisation called Muslim Engagement and Development, which released this hideous, queerphobic 'guide' for parents who don't want their children to learn LGBT+ topics in school.

The guidance was released in 2023 and Shockat Adam was Leicester chair at least in 2022, though I'm not sure when that ended. There may not be overlap, and he may not have known, but the guide is very prominent on the MEND website, so I think concern is reasonable.
