The contrast between men like this, i.e., with intelligence and integrity and natural leader ability, and the bizarre crew in D.C. at the moment never ceases to clash (and elicit the natural accompanying question as to what sickness in America caused this state of affairs).

I am concerned that the very same sickness has infected the Pentagon. I can only hope that there are good men and women who have honor and integrity left as the General does. He has also fought valiantly for the plight of Haitians and it has fallen on deaf ears with this regime.
