There are LABOUR MPs who would vote for Corbyn, never mind Labour voters! 😊 You’ve got a short memory. Obviously there is plenty of time for Corbyn’s party to make a hash of it, but even if they do, I still think they’re going to lose Labour seats by appearing on the ballot paper.
Frankly I’m amazed Abbott , Burgon and about 3 others ( Kim? Liverpool etc ) haven’t yet .. and the why they haven’t is more interesting to consider ..😎
It is very interesting. I think their calculation is they’re ’waiting for traction’ and would only join once the initial excitement has subsided. If they join now and it all fizzles out (à la SDP), their careers will go ‘Chuka Umunna’ - he was a future leader of the Labour Party once upon a time.
They’re probably also frightened they won’t be pure enough 😎😂
They should undergo a series of ideological tests… each one more gruelling than the last

Exactly.. or more succinctly: financial self interest.. Zarah did same in standing as a Labour MP in GE knowing she’d fixed 5 years salary and could ditch them after a few weeks .. principles?😂 If she had any she’d enable a by election ..
