I remember seeing this canned cranberry slicer/server in the Spencer’s catalog and thinking, “So that’s what it’s like to be rich.”

The box top of the W M Rogers silverplated canned cranberry sauce server tray and slicer utensil. The box displays a female hand holding the utensil and slicing through cranberry sauce on the silver tray.

Huh, not being rich isn't so bad if that's what it's like. I think I can live with missing out on that one.

Actually, I vaguely remember somebody in my family (mom?, aunt?, grandmom?) having one of those -- works well, even if totally unnecessary. Stored with all the couple-times-a-year "good" tableware, cutlery, and glassware. Definitely not rich 😄. Probably sold on the back of the can. 😁

Oh, wait, that's silverplate ... our family's: stainless. 😁

I was a youngen when I saw it in either the Spencer’s or Harriet Carter or maybe the S&H Green Stamp catalog. In my mind, it was the height of hosh posh living. 😂
