Then they shouldn’t be Senators or Congressmen. They have sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States just like anyone in the military. If you are afraid to do your job then resign and let someone who isn’t afraid take your place.

And very understandably gets zero sympathy here. But is this the correct response? The way to win? (she voted to convict and remove Trump in his last impeachment trial). Wouldn’t it be better to peel her and other Congressional Republicans away from Trump? The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Agreed. How can we then start supporting the ‘fear-filled’ republicans to join our fight? I get that she’s feeling lonely right now in the Republican Party….so can we show her where courage lives and thrives. We don’t have to agree on everything, but we do need to agree to fight the current threat.

I’m not sure but it’s time to try something. Watching a Town Hall with Rep Balint(D) in Vt. the other day. She said they only need 4 Republicans in the House to do something. But, there are pardoned 1/6 felons in the House gallery watching Republicans every utterance and vote. Just imagine!
