Stop being intentionally obtuse. Details were provided. He was stopped & abducted while driving to the store. If the "system worked" a phone call or quick system search could have cleared this up. Instead he was held for 13 days in inhumane conditions. Thankfully he has a wife to advocate for him.

RO's visa expired in 2015. He was under a deportation order until 2020. He was still here under a visa that expired 9 years earlier, AKA illegally. He did not get a work permit until after his marriage in 2024. His arrest was a mistake, he was released. If he had followed the law, no arrest.
