It's a truly amazing place, I'll have to check it out. And think about when to go, I really liked the views.

Fall is a particularly lovely time of year here because there tends to be less fog. October is usually fog free in San Francisco and the rest of the area. (There are no guarantees about weather these days, but that has been a trend over the years.) Rain is rare in summer and unpredictable in winter.

Yes, I agree. Nature is completely unpredictable.
