I heard it had gone up! It is more in countries outside the US. I am so sorry your girlfriend went through that. It is so awful and frustrating. I recommend reviewing Domestika here: www.trustpilot.com/review/domes...

I'm not a fan of genAI, but I will say, the summary is accurate, though missing the emotion of much of the real reviews... Domestika tried to submit a bunch of fake positive reviews, but the negative reviews were still too overwhelming...

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers express widespread dissatisfaction with their subscriptions, citing unexpected charges and a lack of clear consent. Many people report being signed up for subscriptions without realizing it, often after purchasing a single course. Reviewers also highlight difficulties in obtaining refunds, even when the subscription benefits were not used. The consumers also report issues with contacting the company, describing customer service as unresponsive and unhelpful. The cancellation process is another source of frustration, with people claiming they were charged despite attempting to cancel their subscriptions. Payment issues are a recurring theme, with several reviewers feeling they were misled regarding the payment terms.

Reminded me that I need to ask her if she got the money back… pretty foul business practice.

I wish I had gotten a refund. I haven't, and I was too soured on the experience (and scared they would charge me again) to ever use any content. Some credit card banks reversed charges, but PayPal was no help.
