Agreed. I'm cool with some Superstars joining acting unions. But in cases like this, a line has to be drawn.

Wait, can they join as wrestlers only without stunt work, tv shows, or movies? Cause that was my understanding, that they needed to do non-wrestling stuff to be in the guild.

Oh no, I know there are wrestlers that are union, I was talking about like they can’t join in terms of wrestling only which is weird when they are on tv and some or most of the dialogue is scripted.

That IS pretty weird. I wonder why that's the case, actually. I'm sure there's SOME kind of reason for it, but if stuntpeople can join, surely wrestlers should be able to as well...
