It’s like when I asked to get a booster for measles and they told me at cvs that they were out of stock when my daughter stepped on a rusty thumbtack I tried to get her, her booster shot for tetanus but they once again refused to give it to us stating they didn’t have it. I tried Publix they had it
But they refused because it wasn’t prescribed by a Dr which is wild if we had any good drs out here then I’d have taken her to the drs for the shot. I finally took her to urgent care and they gave her the shot. It was crazy to me the entire time. I’ve never been told no we can’t get a vaccine 💉
Measles vaccine is hard to get in some areas as supply was shifted for the outbreaks. As for the other, pharmacist authority to immunize varies widely from state to state. You may have run up against a practice restriction in your state. It’s going to get really bad as ACIP recs start changing 😞
