Starmer has failed. Over the last 14 months, a definite pattern has emerged of a Glasman run Blue Labour that's merely acting as a bulwark against progressive policies β in order to solidify far-right policies before installing a RefUK government. Starmer is a Blue Labour creation. Both need to go.
It's such a shame. We badly need grey, serious politicians rather than the snake-oil salesmen of late. #Scotland has Swinney who is determined to push through progressive, well-being policies. It's time Starmer disengaged from the noise and did the same for England.
I don't think Starmer's capable of it, to be honest. So the reboot will have to be a deep one.
With him still in charge Labour will lose the next election, that I can predict.
