The website said there were no phones or cell phones allowed, and it was 8 minutes until the flooding became a catastrophe. Why even have a camp in a flood zone!?

Any camp banning phones from staff and leadership for safety reasons alone is gross malpractice. I’m not buying that flash floods occur in 8 minutes, predicting weather has come a LONG way in the last decade.

That is an excellent point. My house was flooded when Hurricane AGNES devastated areas of PA & NY in June 1972. My property was declared in a flood zone. A commercial project I wanted to do was denied because of the designation in a floor zone. But different states regulate zoning I am sure.
