About time you switched to Linux Robert. It will access your SSDs again. It's free, open source, secure, has all apps you could wish for & is easy to set up & adapt to. I suggest you look up Ubuntu for starters. Once you've downloaded the free OS it should take about an hour to get you gong again.

Been using Ubuntu for webservers for over 20 years but never got on with it for desktop. Gradually taking my websites serverless with s3, cloudfront, api gateway, lambda, dynamodb, so am shifting away from Ubuntu. I'll always be trapped by M$ Windows, but that's life.
