Alright, #writersky, I have a question. I've attempted on numerous occasions to write something for publication. Every time I attempt this, I get stuck at between 20k and 25k words. Does anyone else suffer from this end-of-first-act hang-up?

It kinda depends on how much you plan ahead. I personally try to plot out the major story beats first and then write to try and connect them. If you’re stuck, I’d say to take a step back and ruminate on it for a bit. Or trim the fat and focus on the most important bits.
I’ve started with a children’s chapter book which has a sweet spot of 10,000 words quite deliberately 😊😉
Oh, that's a great way to approach it.
I’m easing myself in 😁
