Agree. But just like the previous two sets of large riots in Los Angeles, once the flashpoint violence against the cop starts, the rest is a given. I’ve been watching rocks and bottles against the cops for the last two hours.

Either one really. Once violence starts the civil authority has every right to come in and meet that force to call the violence.

I wouldn't go that far unless you're speaking strictly within legal terms - "this law written by the rich gives the cops a monopoly on force when it comes to protecting their property." But I'd argue that people have a universal right (& duty) to defend themselves & their community from fascism.
