We will be pulling our trailer and camping in the park at Two Medicine campground. I will do day hikes from there. The draw of the F100 or N80 is that I can take advantage of optical image stabilization on my Nikkor G zoom lenses and I can easily swap lenses with the D850.
Gotcha. That makes sense. N80 is a fair bit lighter than the F100, right? That would probably sway me towards that model for hiking, unless you need the better focusing ability of the F100.
My only hesitation with the N80 is that it's been a wee bit flaky in recent years. Recent rolls I've run through it have been fine, but I had a run of problems with Ilford film in it. The N80 is quite a bit lighter than the F100 though. The F100 weighs as much as the D850.
