It kind of depends on what you're doing on it and how much processor you'll be using. Unless you're doing something resource heavy like video or photo editing, animation, gaming, heavy digital processing, and things of that nature, you can't really go wrong with either one.
I think the Ryzens are a little more efficient but cost more. but Really, find a brand and computer you like, has the RAM to support your taskings (16gb is usually good these days for home computing). Processors are important, but only if the rest of the system is capable of supporting it.

I'm leaning towards the Ryzen. I never willy nilly just buy anything. Doing my due diligence and will make a decision in the next few days. I'm on a Lenovo Think Pad with intel CORE and I've loved it but it's time for a new toy. Also getting a new mattress. Whole other story! 😂

Im not a big hardware specs guy, and I do most of my computer shopping st best buy. I very rarely use traditional computers outside of work. Mostly for 3d designing and printing these days.
I got a killer deal at Best Buy on a Victrola turntable/radio/CD player! It actually has a cassette slot on the side!! My old school self was very happy. 😁 Now I'm thinking you meant whatever is the best buy. I need more coffee! 😂

Everything!! I've a pretty good collection. Lots of Bowie, Elton John...like really old Elton John, Sex Pistols, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Heart, Bad Company 1st album I bought with my own money! Prince, U2, Funkadelics, Yes, Robin Trower. It's a long list and all kinds of music.
Minus the U2 of course, because, no thanks. 🤣
I love their really old stuff. The Unforgettable Fire is my favorite. They got a little too commercial for me.
