My storefront has double display windows, almost floor to ceiling and a traffic light controlled junction very close by. People would be horrified at the number of motorists looking at their phones as they come to a halt - and drive away again. It easily one in every three vehicles.
Yup. I see it every day, no matter the mode of transport I am using. Whilst driving I witness drivers unable to stay in their lane, at traffic lights their faces lit up by phones on laps trying to hide they are looking at them. They know it is wrong. Police do nothing.

Truly: more than 90% of drivers I see on my daily 10 mi rides ARE ON THEIR PHONES EITHER WATCHING SHIT OR TEXTING
Distracted drivers are why most of my lone miles are on an indoor trainer just to try and keep what little fitness I have while unemployed. When I'm out riding with the GF doing grocery runs I always try and point out drivers I see on their phones. (No 2 way radio, just on a discord call)
When you ride lots of miles daily you see consistent patters such as : if my violent ex doesn’t murder me an SUV driver barelling OUT OF THE STAPLES PARKING LOT most likely will smash me
No shilling just, getting a set of these for a downtube splash for new frame day. If it's not an SUV it will be a Pick Up or like happened with my knee and mangled old mountain bike a Mini Van

Also, the #IdahoStop or rolling stop that’s been studied and found to be SAFEST FOR BIKERS, motorists and pedestrians is what MOST DRIVERS USE— they roll through every stop sign causing so many accidents
