That's horrifying. Is there a longer detour, like somehow on Highway 128? I would take a long detour to avoid that overcrossing.

I used this route, crossing St Laurent headed east just south of the 417 I to the industrial area. Cyrville wasn't a pleasure to bike on but it did have a painted bike lane and no on/off ramps to cross. There's a pathway behind the plaza that connects to the rail trail. Not legal access I'd guess.

I considered hopping onto the path behind the Rona and then cutting cross country through the farm (there's a single track) to the Dewberry Trail and picking up Walkley at the trailhead (slightly less terrible highway crossing) but had a time constraint to deal with
