(that being said, even in a perfect world my second book would have been fairly different from my first — I don't much like doing the same job twice.)

Oh, no problem with that. I have, to much smaller acclaim, written on separate subjects in each of my books. Look forward to the next book, and hopefully a world where powerful people are discussing deeper things.
