According to sources in the Danish police, American agents are trying to infiltrate Greenland to find people who would be in favour of an American invasion.

Probably just going to declare one day that it's now American territory and there isn't anything anyone can do about it. Any danish troops will be handed a plane ticket and be asked to leave. EU will send a strongly worded letter and then that's that.
