Pretty sure the emotions I experience aren't always mine. Right out of nowhere sometimes. Viewed as a gauge, 'meat things' are way more sensitive than anything technology has ever come up with. Dogs and children are my Exhibit A.

I completely agree. I have always had this empathic trait, but I feel like it's been hitting hard out of nowhere, lately. I guess that's an oxymoron for me to say, since the world is a stream of emotions playing out in real time. But golly gee...It sucks.

The Scots, a superstitious people by their own reckoning, regard second sight to be as much a curse as a blessing. Science says perception of reality fluctuates dependant on sugar levels in the brain. Sometimes there is big stuff passing through, eh?

I'm Irish/Italian. I know all about superstition...lol. And I absolutely think gifts are a double edged sword. I definitely have to take care of my energies and shield and recoup when I feel drained. I feel like it happens when people TAKE energy, rather than willingly giving it.

Vampires are real in that sense... the current regime in the White House are vampires imho. These times are a trial, and it helps if you have managed to foster some skills to stay centred. That's the real work.

Grounding is so important. I,however, can't convince my soul of that....it things this world is waaaayyy to heavy. It likes to float around in the universe and play.😂
