Capitalism has been a huge success, peasants in other countries have dirt floors, peasants in America have cars and iPhones. A much higher standard of living. Here's the kind of socialism that is allowed under the US Consitution btw.

And since according to your info, the constitution doesn't mandate an economic system. We've tried capitalism for 250 years. It's failed, so there's nothing to keep up from trying something new. On the freedom/democracy aspect there's capitalist countries right now that are dictatorships

So there aren't hundreds of thousands of homeless/hungry/one paycheck away of becoming homeless, massive debt from medical emergencies? My wife had to have a cancerous tumor removed from her kidney 2 months ago. We owe 2 thousand dollars for just the copay for the operation. You know zilch
