They started planning for this eventuality in 1954 after desegregation became law. Conservative so-called christians were outraged that they had to allow black students to attend their all white schools and colleges in order to continue to receive federal funds. Democrats have no such plan.

Prophecy isn't supposed to be partisan. It's supposed to be used for exhortation, admonishment, correction, and encouragement - at least according to the book they claim to follow. That began to change about the same time as the Prosperity Gospel took hold in this country - the 50s.

Organized religion was always about keeping the masses in their place and help the rich and powerful be richer and more dominant. (Granted, there are genuine religious people out there and they are entitled to their belief.)

We should all have the option to believe or not, as we see fit, as long as our belieft or lack thereof don't cause others to suffer. This is not their intention. They want a theocratic autocracy with no tolerance for dissent or disobedience. I almost can't believe I used to pray for this.
