The Tebow comparison is objectively terrible. Jeremy Lin was a fine NBA player.
I *was* a casual NBA fan, now there’s no room on the docket. Anyway, I heard Lins name an order of magnitude greater than Tebow’s and 99% of the time it was because of his accomplishments, not some on-field brand. People are insane with these takes.
Tebow made a 53-man roster three times. Lin made a 15-man roster 10 times. Just an absurd comparison.
Lin's career EFG% is higher than Tebow's career completion%.
Linsanity was basketball RomoMania. Inverted Tebow is Kaepernick - the fact people didn't like him off the field resulted in a career less accomplished than it would have been based on talent.
I agree with this in a way, but Kap could actually sling a football. Tebow’s mechanics were about as good as mine.
I'm saying the only reason Tebow kept getting chances was because people wanted him to succeed.
I agree with that 100%
If you get good results you are, in fact, good.
They're saying JEREMY FUCKING LIN wasn't very good?!
Yes. And that’s a rather large account here!
