I actually think this is more sinister. I think if a right winger goes on a shooting spree they'll minimize it, humanize it, try to sweep it under the rug, distract from it etc. 1/2

But if a leftist starts shooting people, they're not only going to prosecute and probably kill that person on sight. But publicize it and use it as an excuse to militarize this country further
