I didn't like it either. (sigh) I wanted to. Not because it's "woke" (its sentiments and politics are humane, classic Superman) but how badly it was put together. Horribly frantic, full of plot holes, consequence-free catastrophes, manic pacing and half-baked resolutions. It's too busy to breathe.

Yes exactly. I’ve had trouble putting it all in to words. Especially when social media likes to draw lines, like if you hate it you must believe this, or vise versa. I was open and ready for a great movie cause I’m a Superman fan. And it just fell flat for me. I think I’m over James Gunn humor.

Maybe not humor as in his type of jokes, it’s the placement. Serious convo between Lois and Clark, there’s also a really silly fight in the background to draw the focus away from whatever emotion the scene had. And he does that constantly. But, people are loving it, so I’m fine just stepping aside.
