I wouldn't either. But if I were her? I'd wait to see how those FL elections go, and if they both flipped, I might go to Jeffries and see what kind of a deal I could cut to recant my evil ways. Best served cold, and all that.

She doesn’t have to become a Democrat, just upend all their careful plans that rest on her voting with them. Even just a present or no vote could cause chaos,

It's true, and it would be a plus, but it wouldn't have the transformative impact that shifting House control would. Maybe she wouldn't want to burn her bridges that way, but in sheer FAFO terms she couldn't do better.
