Here it’s all about authentic engagement vs loads of clicks. The more you interact, the more people will follow you. It’s why I like this platform the best, no algorithms and people can’t post huge long form meandering pieces.

I like this take. When I left FB (17 y/o acct), my feed was AI slop, memes, and ads. I had to actively search for people I wanted updates on. I'm not sure anymore that the reach people seem to enjoy there is real vs bots/AI generated content, but hopefully they have metrics that indicate otherwise.

I have a Facebook account but hardly use it. Every time I have reported racist and homophobic posts (and this is not often but the posts were heinous) I received a reply that they did not go against community standards. That’s not a community I want to be a part of.

I hope you stay! Regardless of whether you get a lot of traction, I would suggest staying because you are still reaching people. I’m not on FB, Twitter, or Instagram and this is the only social media I use. I would hate to miss out on your posts. 🙁 Hugs!

I just got banned from Facebook. The 2nd week of July. I had just reached over 10,000 followers. I'm not the only one this just recently happened to either. Lost everything 💔😪 So I'm here no its not no facebook but it's all I have now and will keep speaking up and following you and others.
