i'm still nowhere near considering using it on my main PC, but man for this thinkpad it's perfect. runs SO much nicer than Windows did

Okay well that didn’t last long. I hate Linux again. For some reason my XM4s sound like absolute dog shit over Bluetooth now and I’ve spent the last 20 minutes trying to install a program which Linux just refuses to do. I hate Linux

Okay I figured it out. For some reason Linux decided to put my headphones in handset mode. I didn’t ASK it to do that but okay thanks I really enjoyed feeling like I was back in a CoD MW lobby with that bitrate

Glad you are liking Linux! There are a lot of hurdles to overcome: if your audio isn't working from the beginning, it's not because Linux is terrible: it could be your particular hardware mix. Does Windows "always" work? To listen to the people here, it doesn't. Glad you are here :)
