The art style of chicken a and chicken b are fundamentally different and are trying to achieve something different. You wouldn't put a Disney film character design into a TV show or vice versa

The first chicken looks like it came from the pitch Bible for big city greens the second looks like a copy from a Preston blair tutorial. Both are fantastic.
