Short, but still overstays its welcome. While we're asking ourselves what we are reading (Stepford? Bluebeard? Beauty and the Beast? The Menagerie?), it's mildly interesting; when we get the reveal (halfway through the novella), the rest is a disappointing slog. #booksky #horror #fantasy
