I’ve just been to Córdoba. They do a lot of watering there. Wonderful!

Look at you resisting!
I understand
Despite everything your pretty aqualegia shouldn’t go thirsty 💜
I have always liked columbines.
I paint. Thank you for sharing this because it reminded me to.
just sitting in ours, a haven away from the lunacy, and restoring sanity:-
🥰such a beautiful corner
🌱
💚🌱
Lovely clematis..
This is terribly & beautifully poetic.
Maybe it's time to start a "secret" garden?🤔😀
Columbine! so pretty
I live on 5 acres of woods, so lots of wildflowers and listening to the “hawk talk”. 💕
The world's not collapsing. We're just more in the loop about things due to the Internet, compared to years before.
I too
It’s the one area in life that will never let you down, even if it fails
Sames, dude. I actually just discovered the pleasure this year
Same here , at least you can save the flowers …
Is that Aquilegia? It’s climbing so it must be something else. Very pretty though 😊
It is, just a variety that is tall and thin 😄
Me too, it gives me peace.
This long time Coloradan sees those gorgeous columbines!🧐
FINALLY! Someone is showing some Columbines! The Blue & White ones are for Colorado.
It’s gotta be done. 🌱🪴
Love your columbine. Mine is also in bloom. Spring is so beautiful.
Aquilegia looks amazing but doesn’t last as long as you want it too.
Keeps me sane. Just repotted a load of tomatoes, courgettes, and beetroot.
Me too…

Me too🩷
Same, bro
Well, wilted flowers don't help anyone or anything, so, good job, dude! Keep it up.
Passion Flower?
Same.
Very pretty!
It’s beautiful!
Very Candide. Voltaire had it right. "I don't understand the world, so I shall cultivate my garden."

Lovely! I will join you from my garden. It's important to recognize and care for the beauty we can, especially now.
Are those Dahlias, bottom right?
Yes! Gift from my son today. I have pulled roots and had mixed success, but they are such beautiful flowers with endless variations, they are hard to resist. Picture of blooms from a couple of years ago. Planted the roots that I pulled last fall, but they didn't look promising. We'll see.
They’re beautiful! I have 7/8 in my own garden; they’re only starting to grow, which is early but we had a warm spell here in Cork (Ireland) so hopefully they’ll bloom in a month. The slugs love them, I use beer traps and broken seashells to deter them.
P.S. I truly dislike slugs.
Major phobia of mine
Have a jar of beer. I pick them off the garden and put them in.😰🤢
😂 I think I’d have a nervous breakdown if I had to pick them up 😂
Lol, well, of course, gloves are a must. Also helps if they have recently decimated a plant I have been nursing along or one I am impatiently waiting to bloom. Last year they ate a whole lupine,in one night, the whole beautiful plant. That morning, I went hunting. 🤣🤣🤣
Wish they were hardy enough to survive winters here in the ground! I do love them.
🥰💚💜🩷
As the world collapses, I will do laundry and buy groceries , and tomorrow I will go to work. Something is wrong here.

Beautiful! #nature #earthisbeautiful
Columbines are my favorite (born in Colorado). Keep on growing! Here's a passionflower 🙂
Beautiful!
That’s the way. Enjoy your little bubble.
Me too, as i despair
And a beautiful garden it is.
If you want to channel your energy into something else that's positive, here is a project I've spreading the word about.
If only the world was as lovely as your garden!. 😀
your columbines are gorgeous. Growing season is almost over on my end. It's been too warm for them to thrive in the heat here.
❤️🩷🧡💛💚🌷🌷🌷
Love your garden 💕
Been in my little garden too. I love ferns. So I went mad & bought 5. To soothe myself. They look fantastic. Young & settling in. Also spread some meadow seeds, about a meter by about two meters. Despite my little canine companions' 'habits' seedlings popping up😊. I'll post pics later, b4 & after.
“We must cultivate our own garden”-Voltaire
Beautiful! Me too! Although we’re just getting started here in Illinois
Me too
Columbine?
Yes!
Ty
🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗💚💚💚what are the purple flowers on the left? Passion vine? Such a lovely space💜💜
Might as well live peacefully and safely while you can.
GORGEOUS!
'Being There,' was a movie, but Chauncey's advice was solid. If the roots are happy, the garden will thrive.
As you should
It’s keeping me sane (just)
🥰❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful! 😍
Ooo those are beautiful! My columbine has not bloomed just yet.
As hundreds and thousands have done before. These current troubles are only the latest iteration in this vale of tears...
Beautiful!!!
I also take refuge in my garden. It calms my soul, so I can stand up another day & fight the insanity.
Lovely Columbines!
Ha, exactly the same here.
We must carry on as ridiculous as everything is.
No reason for the garden to collapse with the rest of it. Beautiful flowers, food for bees and butterflies, bits of birds nests and a lotta bugs. None of them should suffer. And you get to enjoy them.
Me too.
And then world will born again like a phenix!
Sweet Columbine.
Me too, Jeremy. Me too.
<< Il faut cultiver notre jardins. >>
Yup
That's exactly how I feel.
your garden is lovely.
As one does.
Its so peaceful
Beautiful. Oh man, me too. My courtyard garden is the only thing holding me together lol.
The pups. Yeah they're really my glue.
Is it me, or are aquilegias everywhere this year? My mum's garden is full of them, in various colours. Gorgeous!
the colors in this photo are pretty amazing, what kind of camera did you use here
Just my phone's camera 😄
well that’s a damn fine phone camera
Well it's better than what Nero did
Beautiful way to start a day.
Same.
+1. Voltaire.
Showstopper! Secret garden🥰💚💚💚
Voltaire. Il fault cultiver notre jardin.
Me too.
It where I find some Peace ☮️ 🌻🌺🌸🌼🍅🥒🌱
My garden is looking especially great this year for the same reason

You are making better choices
I'm painting rocks...and protesting.🏝👵💙💛
