Strava has updated its map to reflect the new opening of the Don.
Maybe they're still pissed over Sidewalk Labs.
I’m enough of a planning nerd that for weeks I’ve been regularly checking the Google Earth view to see if it’s been updated yet!
Google Maps is known to be extremely slow at updating its maps…unless it’s driving infrastructure like roads.
You can suggest changes but I don't know how that works for waterways!
Hahahaha have you tried recommending changes? I’ve done that, it takes ages for it to get approved and it usually doesn’t get approved anyway. I spent days trying to fix the cycling network mistakes on Google Maps by recommending hundreds of changes and almost none of them got approved.

Others will concur. A new trail opened in Scarborough a few years ago? Still not on Google Maps.
Some people have managed it. Maybe if we name it "New Mouth of the Don (America) River" we can get prioritized.
Or changing the names of bodies of water at the whims of presidents.
I think they need to remedy this.
