At some point (should have happened already but we’re too busy playing hot potato with volatility) the stove will stay hot and Captial will panic and all of this will have been equally predictable.

If the question is “what is going to happen when it sinks in that the USD can no longer function as a reserve currency because of opacity and corruption?” —my answer is “Something very bad. Probably many very bad things with second and third order effects I am unqualified to predict.”
