so i listened to a bunch of soundgarden this week because i was feeling conflicted about how much i really like them. turns out that utlramega ok and badmotorfinger are all i really care for. the rest is very hit or miss

There's still good stuff on Superunknown ("Mailman", "Limo Wreck", "4th of July") and Down on the Upside ("Ty Cobb", "Blow Up the Outside World") but their heaviest stuff has always been their best.

Very hit or miss band and Chris Cornell is the main person I think about when I hear the Silver Jews line "all my favorite singers couldn't sing". He's obviously a great and talented singer but I just don't really like his voice that much compared to other, "worse" singers.
