Isn’t the other option to get a passport? I never changed my name, but I’m planning to get a passport, just in case I have to “prove” someday that I’m a citizen.

I have a passport, but my last name doesn't match my birth certificate. Was wondering if that will be accepted or if my passport will have to be changed back to my maiden name? These are strange times...
