Well said. The constant need to rationalize lies or validate the people who believe them is part of what got us here. Just say “No, that’s wrong and dumb” when things are wrong and dumb.

Better yet, say what's right. i.e. "reduced risk by 90%" That's pretty amazing, actually. You are 90% safer from Covid after the vaccine than you were before.

I had COVID after vaccination, and it was...fine! A bad cold, basically. And that's largely because I was able to fight it off much more effectively thanks to the vaccine.

I was pretty miserable but I basically slept for a week. only had a few bouts of coughing so hard I couldn't breathe. it wasn't nothing and I didn't get to binge a tv series like I'd been told is standard, but I didn't wind up hospitalized or permanently disabled
