"brexitism", a new word coined so the english can blame something else for brexit, doesn't exist. It's the sort of thing a labour think tank would come up with, to deflect blame for their "not in my life time" stance against the EU, SM and CU.

the english are hilarious. 2019: "we HAD to vote for pro brexit boris, coz corbyn, innit" 2024: "we HAD to vote for pro brexit labour coz #GTTO, innit" meanwhile the UK is falling apart at the seams and people are painting flags on pavements & shouting angrily at hotels.

There are a whole band of people who say "If you don't vote Labour you're letting Farage into No:10". But if you do vote Labour they will take it as a green light to carry on with their pro-Brexit, far-right chasing policies & agenda. There will come a point where Reform & Labour policies converge.

they converged ages ago Richard. Irish people spotted that in 2024. the "not in my lifetime" election promise by starmer about the CU, SM & EU gave it away. His "Island of strangers" speech just turned it up to 11.

Brexit happened in 2020. There was no undo Brexit option in 2024 - and Corbyn was pro Brexit. There isn't a magic switch to reverse it. The EU doesn't trust us and wouldn't let us rejoin. Get real.

the brexit vote was 2016, Angus. They "won" in 2016. I visit regularly and remember the celebrations and the "get them out now" chants. fun fact: voting in the same direction as the r/w makes centre/left parties swing right too.

I know. It wasn't aimed at you. The complaints of labour being pro Brexit in 2024 are just peeving. It was addressing that reality that it was a done deal. No party could offer a no brexit offer.

Got to laugh at Gyles and his multiple clone accounts….😂 You can literally spot them a mile off. Same old Anglophobic drivel.

Oh and and I must say I’m really enjoying watching New Zealand pulverise Ireland in the women’s World Cup.
