Seriously? Russian air planes and drones enter Ukrainian air space every day now even though Ukraine tries to shoot them down. Having European planes flying over Ukraine will make them a party to the war and will be attacked of course. If it was that simple it would have been done at the start.

You don't understand that this would mean that Europe actively enters the war in Ukraine and will be targets themselves. Ask yourself why this wasn't done already in 2022? Because it means that Europe would enter the war as an active participant. It wont happen for that reason.

Thew West and Nato is not in an active war same as China and Iran is not in an active war either for supporting Russia. An active war means direct involvement in actual combat which is why it won't happen. So many people don't understand what that actually means and the consequences of it.
Nope, I don’t agree. „Hot war“ means direct involvement in actual combat. „Active war“ means clear support - military, economical or strategic, or covert like hacking, paid propaganda or assassinations. You could argue NK is in a hot war with Ukraine.
