Went to a big store 20 mi from home w husband for spring patio items over the weekend, 20% cheaper than Amazon. We go twice a year and usually have a long list (planters, outdoor lights, patio cushions etc) Found ea item but my husband kept saying let's wait and see. Over and over. Same w travel

Uncertainty is NOT a zero-sum game. Every company with a supply chain (read: all of them) is currently spending massive amounts of their free capital just moving shit around trying to stay alive. That is lost revenue and a massive hit to the GDP.
