Cutting money from PBS and NPR plus foreign aid is only going to hurt people here and abroad. Some rural stations who are often the only option when it comes to getting the weather forecasts, and all of that is going to go away. This makes no sense.

Cutting government aid for public media is hurting Americans' access to true news. Will we only have access to "paid" news?

In response to the Trump and GOP cuts to public broadcasting funds, I just initiated a monthly donation (membership) to my PBS and NPR local station. I will also intensify my focus on reading and sharing NPR articles. I like their factual, accurate, transparent, and interesting reporting.

If those programs are so great, they can stand their own
