Heritage Steel recently faced a $75,000 tariff on a handle order, and Henn anticipates another bill nearing $200,000 for goods arriving this month. But the company finds steel and aluminum tariffs as potentially beneficial for business.

Heritage Steel has RAISED ITS PRICES BY 15%. But the company is HAPPY because other manufacturers have to raise their prices EVEN MORE. The American people get the shaft and are poorer. But let's pretend there is a pony under Trump's pile of shit.

Because Heritage Steel makes a few large raw-material purchases each year, the company had a significant supply on hand when the first 25% steel tariffs took effect. This wasn’t a deliberate tariff strategy, Henn said, but rather a fortunate result of their workflow.

The company knows this buffer won’t last. With the next tariff bill expected to be more than double the first, Heritage Steel has raised prices across all products by about 15%.

While Henn sees the policy’s intent as good, he said what makes more sense to him is a change over a longer period of time that encourages more U.S. industry.

have fun paying 50% more for every ounce of steel you import. You gonna eat that out of your soon-to-be nonexistent profits or simply pass that extra cost to whomever buys your pots and pans? is he aware someone importing actual pots and pans pays only a 15 to 25% tariff? maga business acumen!
