Vance has a major problem. The base does not worship him like they do Trump. MAGA has always been about cult-of-personality. And Vance doesn’t have one. He makes DeSantis look like Richard Dawson. Anything authoritarian he tries to pull will look….. well….. authoritarian to these people.
