Just adding that reporters are not the most sympathetic lot but the media would be more robust/competent if pay and conditions were improved and it was seen as a viable career for more people.

Solidarity with you all. As one of the many who shifted from freelancing to comms many years ago, I wish journalism was a healthier sector with viable careers for more people.

We need reporters desperately. Meta has eroded the media landscape and the government’s lack of willingness to support a robust local media and instead often malign it is so gross. Kia kaha!!
