I second this. We need to get out of the social media algorithms. I found out about an event yesterday after it was over. Another option is to join a local Indivisible group.

No algorithms here. Your feed is what you want it to be. Create or follow lists of stuff that interests you. I just created this list of accounts that post about #protests I think you can follow it? Pin it to your feed. Let me know if you want other accounts added to it. bsky.app/profile/did:...

I understand that. It was Facebook that showed me the event too late. The group organizing it is not on Bluesky.
