I think so, I think they really think it is just going to expose all the democrats and (democratic supporting) celebrities. Part of the whole drain the swamp mythology. The Diddy trials were also supposed to be this massive exposure along the same lines, but that didn't quite pan out for them.

What concerns me is that, prior to now, it was reasonable to think that when 45 is no more, his influence would die, that no one else could pick up his following. Now analysts are saying that with the taste of power the right has, and now that they see how things can be done, that has changed.

Have you checked out the Ground News ap? It shows you the headlines, the origin of the story and who picked it up, and at a glance, you can see how the same story is spun from left, center, and right. Many things the right sees the left does not, and the right doesn't see many stories the left does.

Yes straight arrow news is similar. It’s an aggregator stories from all sources. And they do the same thing. Rank it by left leaning or right leaning or somewhere in the middle.

I knew those biases existed but it's very interesting to see it in real time and how it breaks down. I really like seeing who broke the story too, which helps me discern if I should even look at it.

I'm well aware of the media bubble that exists, but let's be honest, all you have to do is believe your own eyes and ears to disseminate the current events. Besides, I don't follow American news, I rely on Canadian and British news sources.

Although at this point, with all the increasingly improved AI, what you see and hear, no matter how plausible or authentic-seeming, can be a deep fake. I'm to the point I believe nothing I see or hear until I have confirmed it from many sources and can't find it on Snopes.

Oh it is useful, that much is true. I have looked at it. But if trump claims gas is $1.99 per gallon, and you can't find gas anywhere at $1.99 per gallon, why would any right minded person actually believe gas is $1.99 per gallon? trump supporters actually believe gas is $1.99 per gallon.

It's a useful tool, to be sure. It is especially useful when I just don't have the energy to look at news but want a quick scan of headlines. I look at the headline, look at the source, look at the bias, and then click in for a summary. If still interested, I'll click into the article.
