When I wrote that comment it wasn't targeted at every Floridian. Just the right wing extremists, it was right after I had heard Florida banned the Diary Of Anne Frank, a book that is required reading for nearly every student on earth. Countries stopped banning books centuries ago. Not Florida.
oh fuck those in florida's govt and citizenry that supports this shit, I'm very on board for that. I just think those who aren't already have it bad enough. and sadly the U.S. did not stop that practice, it's been a problem even before this Turd Reich.
Yeah, of course, but Florida just re-elected DeSantis in a landslide just three years ago. And wasn't that after he had just been humiliated on the national stage? And statistically, Florida is one of the worst states in the US and their educational standards are falling rapidly.
but still over 40% didn't vote for him. there are good non-trumpian people stuck in red states.
